Bill Mooz is the Senior Director
of Utility Computing for Sun Services, based in
Broomfield, Colorado. As Senior Director, Bill
is responsible for developing and driving all
Sun's utility computing strategy.
Previously,
Bill Mooz served as Senior Director of Strategy,
Planning and Developments for Sun Services, where
he developed and managed the execution of Sun's
services strategy initiatives and was responsible
for all business development activities. Having
spent the bulk of his career in legal positions,
Bill Mooz began his career at Sun as the Deputy
General Counsel for Sun Services. During his three
years in this role, Bill headed up the legal support
team for Sun Services, Sun Services Global Account
group and represented Sun Services in Latin America.
Prior
to Sun, Bill was VP of Business Development &
Legal for Reality Quest Corporation, handling
all it legal and business development, and a partner
at Holland & Hart, where he founded and managed
the firm's Boulder, CO office and specialized
in international business transactions and antitrust
law. Bill Mooz has also served as Judicial Clerk
for Judge Stephen Williams of the U.S. Court of
Appeals for the D.C. Circuit.
Bill
Mooz earned a law degree from the University of
Colorado School of Law in 1985 and a bachelor's
degree in Political Economics from Colorado College
in 1981. Bill has written multiple articles and
books on Antitrust Law, Corporate Law, Doing Business
in Mexico and other topics.
