BusinessWeek announce the Infrastructure special advertising section!

For details on how you can get involved click here!

BusinessWeek will present a special advertising section about Infrastructure, including segments on utility and on-demand computing, in its September 13 issue. The special section will introduce the 4.7 million readers of BusinessWeek to the key concepts and benefits of this new computing paradigm. In addition, it will describe the leading vendors and provide other vital information for the readers. Furthermore, the web version of the special section will provide hot links to advertisers' web sites to obtain more information about the key products and services that deliver utility and on demand computing as part of a 21st century infrastructure.

The special advertising section will be based on interviews with leading vendors, users and third-party experts. Among the topics to be discussed are:

  • What is the utility or on-demand computing concept? What is its impact on an organization’s infrastructure?
  • What types of servers, communications devices and software are required to upgrade an infrastructure to support utility or on-demand computing?
  • What will be the impact on end users?
  • What are the primary benefits—reducing IT costs or providing better service, or both?
  • How to improve the reliability of existing computing infrastructures
  • Will blade computers reduce the ongoing costs of infrastructures?
  • Can grid computing replace supercomputers?
