Stewart N. Hair is EDS’ director of Strategic Managed Solutions for the company’s IT (information technology) Management Services group. In this role, Hair works with the senior IT management of EDS’ clients and prospects, helping them align their IT strategies to support business objectives. Hair provides insights into how to best transform an organization into an agile enterprise where leverage and speed are the cornerstones of IT strategies.

Hair joined EDS in 1999 when he transitioned from MCI Systemhouse to EDS’ E.solutions line of business. After two successful years in sales, Hair joined the Hosting Services team in 2002 to help drive the integration of EDS’ acquisition of Loudcloud’s managed server business with EDS’ managed hosting services. This culminated in the launch of EDS’ automated hosting capabilities.

Before joining EDS, he held a number management positions at MCI Systemhouse dating back to 1994. Hair was instrumental in the acquisition and start-up of two MCI Systemhouse commercial data centers, one in Canada and one in the United States.

Previously, Hair gained extensive business experience in the manufacturing and communications industries overseeing day-to-day financial management responsibilities and driving the exploitation of new technologies to improve corporate efficiency and profitability. Hair holds a certified management accountant degree from The Society of Management Accountants of Canada.
