As President and CEO, Stephen provides the overall strategic leadership and visionary direction for Azul Systems. Stephen has a dynamic reputation and proven track record of undeniable achievements throughout the systems, networking, and consumer software industries.

Before joining Azul Systems, Stephen was the Vice President and General Manager of Content Delivery and Edge Computing for Sun Microsystems, where he joined following the acquisition of Cobalt Networks.

As Cobalt President and CEO, Stephen guided the team from its earliest stages of development through a period of rapid growth, including the initial release of the company's first server appliance. While at the helm, Stephen also led Cobalt through one of the most dramatic initial public offerings and drove the successful merger with Sun Microsystems.

Prior to joining Cobalt, Stephen held a seat on the executive staff at Cisco Systems as Vice President and General Manager of the Enterprise Network Management Business Unit and Vice President of Enterprise Marketing in San Jose, California. Before Cisco, Stephen was Vice President of Marketing for Symantec Corporation, a leading consumer software company. Stephen also served as General Manager of the Canadian subsidiary of Symantec based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Stephen holds a Bachelor's degree in Finance and Economics from Babson College in Wellesley, Massachusetts.
