Style guide for contributors [ 2002/11/15]
(Please contact the Editor, Michael@UtilComp.com before submitting any pieces) 1. We don't accept payment for articles placed, at any time. 2. Please only use commas and full stops in your article wherever possible. Please attempt to avoid any other punctuation except when unavoidable 3. Please italiscise all publication titles. 4. Please do not double space after full stops. If using acronyms, please refer to the full name of the organisation in the first instance. 5. Please insert a suitable sub-heading in your article every 400-500 words. 6. Please DO NOT use dashes or hyphens, use commas and full stops wherever possible. This rule also applies to bracket usage wherever possible. If you use dashes / hyphens at any time instead of commas, we will ask you to remove them and re-submit the piece. Numbered bullet points or standard bullet points are fine, should you need to use them. 7. Please do not mention your own organisation except when unavoidable. 8. Please use American spelling, NOT UK. 9. Please add a suitable title and short précis to the top of each article. 10. We will not publish footnotes or endnotes 11. Please provide a 2 line credit for the author and a contact email address at the end of each piece. This credit should only include name, job title, organisation and email address. 12. Submissions should only be made electronically to the editor at Michael@UtilComp.com
